GENERAL QUESTIONS
1) What is the recommended age limit?

There is no age limit but we do require adult supervision for children below the age of 13.

2) Do you operate every day and what time is the last game session?

Yes, our store operates daily. You may refer to the hours below:

Monday - Thursday: 12pm - 8pm

Friday - Saturday: 10am - 11pm

Sunday : 10am - 7pm

3) What is your operation time and each room’s time?

You can check on each room’s time slot on our book page linked here.

4) How long does one game session last?

Each game session takes approximately 1 hour 15 minutes; 15 minutes briefing and 60 minutes of gameplay.

5) What type of attire is suitable?

Comfortable clothing and shoes that are easy to move around are recommended because there will be slight physical obstacles in the games

6) Do we need to bring indoor shoes?

Yes, please bring an extra pair of shoes to help keep our rooms clean!

7) What if I have shopping bags and luggage with me?

Each room is provided with a locker to store personal belongings or shopping bags. Locker keys will then be handed to you to hold on to until the game ends.

8) Is the game suitable for the weak-hearted, pregnant ladies or those with disabilities?

Some of our games might have some surprise elements and minimal physical obstacles such as climbing or crawling. However, if they are not keen on continuing the game, our game masters will definitely guide them out of the room immediately as requested. Check out theme rooms details here

9) What is the maximum number of players in a room?

The maximum number is 8. If you have a group of more than 8 people, we would advise you to split your groups into 2 and take an extra room for better comfort and safety purposes.

11) Do I have to make a booking online or can I walk in?

We would advise online booking to secure your game session, especially during the weekends. To book online, you can proceed to link here

12) I am a solo traveler and do not have a group. Can I still join the game?

No, minimum player for a game session is 2 players hence we would still suggest you to invite some new friends along.

13) I wish to bring my company/recommend Novus Escape Room to my company for team building/events. Will there be a corporate fee and who do I contact?

14) I wish to have a marketing collaboration with Novus Escape Room. Who do I contact?

16) What if I made a booking but am late for the session?

Please be on time for your game session to avoid the cancellation of your booking as late arrival will affect upcoming game sessions. Your punctuality is very much appreciated.

17) I made a reservation but I will be bringing more/less people with me to play. Do I need to call to let you know?

No, you do not need to call unless you are cancelling your reservation (24hrs notice please). It is a private room so you may bring up to 8 players. We take payment for the total number of players once you arrive.

18) Can kids play?

Yes, we have many families that come play together. Our rooms are not scary however some children may be too young (under 7) to enjoy the mysterious music so it is at the discretion/risk of the parent to determine if it is an appropriate activity.

1) i want to host an social event / party at novus. what are the available packages?

We offer two distinct ways to celebrate, depending on how much "DIY" you want to do:

Option 1: Basic Room Rental ($50 per hour)

  • Best for those who just need a space. You provide all food, drinks, paper goods, and decorations. We handle the heavy cleaning (trash, sweeping, mopping) after you leave.


Option 2: Full Party Package ($450)

  • Our "all-inclusive" stress-free option. It includes escape room tickets for 8 people, the private room for 2.5 hours, pizza, drinks, ice cream, and all your table settings.

3) what is the timeline for the full party package?

The package is designed for a 2.5-hour experience:

  • The First Hour: Your group is inside the escape room (the party room is available to you during this time for setup/storage).
  • The Remaining 1.5 Hours: After the escape attempt, your group moves to the party room for food, cake, and celebration.
4) can i add more people to the Full Party Package?

Yes! If you have more than 8 guests, it is $25 per additional person. This fee covers their escape room entry (and a second room if needed for a large group), matching place settings, and an extra ice cream cup.

5) can i order more food?

Absolutely. While the Full Package comes with one large cheese pizza from Pat’s Pizzeria, we offer an optional catering service:

  • How it works: You order what you like from Pat's. We handle the pickup and setup for you.
  • Cost: You are responsible for the restaurant's food costs, but we provide the serving utensils and napkins for free.
6) what is the "Dedicated Party Host" add-on?

For a $50 gratuity, you can have a staff member assigned exclusively to your event. They will:

  • Monitor your escape room via camera for hints.
  • Serve the food, drinks, and ice cream.
  • Handle all coordination and cleanup so you can enjoy the party.

Note: This must be scheduled in advance.

7) what are the rules for children and supervision?

To ensure everyone has a safe and fun time:

  • In the Escape Room: Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • In the Venue: Parents are responsible for supervising children at all times. Children must stay inside the party room or the escape room and are not permitted to run or yell in the foyer or common areas.
  • Waivers: ALL participants must have a completed waiver before the event begins.
8) What time should we arrive?

15 minutes early. We need this time to play the Rules & Regulations videos. If your group starts late, we may have to deduct time from your game to ensure we stay on schedule for the next booking.

9) What do i need to bring?
  • For the Full Package: Just the guests and the cake! We provide the rest.
  • For the Basic Rental: You must bring all food, drinks, paper goods, and tablecloths to protect our linens.
